    Maybe this would be fixed by the pre-existing condition language in the new law (I need to read up on it.. wasn’t it written by health insurance lobbyists, though?)…. Maybe you could get into some kind of high-risk pool in your state…. Trying to get an individual policy is a nightmare.  The insurance companies either won’t give you a policy or will only offer you a policy in which you have to pay high premiums for years & they don’t cover anything.  juliaallison: What the WHAT?? Just got the explanation letter in the mail regarding my denied health insurance. How is celiac a reason for not giving someone coverage!?!?  There isn’t even anything you can do about it except NOT EAT WHEAT. !!!!!!!??????!!!

Why the name?

"unquieted" = unsettled = a life in transition.

I'm starting over. I was always creative, but also had strong analytical skills, and was never afraid of technology. At a time when many of my law school classmates are making partner or running for governor, I am going back to my creative roots. Specifically, web design & digital art.

"unquieted" = a play on words.

I can be unquiet, i.e., noisy. I play drums, bass, guitar and once in a while I even try to sing. (But I'm an amateur these days... my creative outlets are visual.) And this blog is about not being quiet. The "ed" part is my name.
